About The Position

A Quality Assurance (QA) Test Engineer is responsible for the manual testing of the Edupoint web-based applications to ensure product releases meet or exceed quality standards. The duties include ensuring changes conform to accepted standards for test case development, reviewing functional requirements / technical requirements, and conducting testing for issues, enhancements, and major releases.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices
• Test case design experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced performance-oriented environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years software quality testing experience or equivalent programming experience in Microsoft technologies on web applications
• Minimum 1 year in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Minimum 1 year experience with a Test Case Management tool

Responsibilities

• Write and execute functional and regression tests and required release documentation
• Track defects and coordinate defect/issue resolution
• Perform risk-based estimates on assigned work
• Ensure changes to the application meet all applicable standards
• Ensure all code changes are tested across multiple client environments
• Ensure QA defined policies and procedures are followed on an ongoing basis
• Retain and demonstrate application knowledge in assigned product area
• Other duties as assigned
