Requirements

  • Associate degree or certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a related field.
  • Experience with Quality Inspections and Testing on Products and Materials that involve Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Related Tests
  • Experience performing laboratory analysis (Viscosity Measurement, ICP-MS, Titration, PH, and Conductivity Measurement)

  • Operating Climatic Test Chambers in Reliability Tests (High Humidity and High Temperature)

  • Possess the ability to handle difficult situations and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work 12-hour fixed work schedule (7am-7pm).
  • Able to use of Microsoft Office Excel, Words, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine out-of-box product audit and in-process quality checks.
  • Prepare product samples from the line to monitor the product quality.
  • Carry out inspection of the products to ensure meeting requirements.
  • Perform product functional & reliability tests.
  • Ensure product classification and disposition are in conformance with out-going procedure, product specifications and requirements.
  • Record measurement data and plot SPC charts
  • Trigger non-conforming (NC) product to QA engineer; and execute out-of-control reaction plan and segregate these NC products for quarantine.
  • Operate metrology instrument and test machine; perform set-up and routine checks with calibration standards.
  • Maintains good housekeeping, safety and discipline in work areas
  • Ensure proper handover and communication from shift to shift if required
  • Support QA engineer in engineering tasks e.g. step up inspection and product tests etc.
