About The Position

The Quality Assurance Technician III supports the smooth operation of day-to-day quality activities, leading and mentoring quality assurance technicians. The role helps ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. It provides guidance on quality and performance standards, oversees product testing and production records, reviews HACCP points, and supports safety, sanitation, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Conflict resolution, coaching, and development skills.
Effective and efficient communication with peers.
Problem-solving and analysis skills.
Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office applications.
Integrity and transparency.

Responsibilities

Lead team members by providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support, and advice.
Ensure safety and quality procedures are followed.
Guide team members in meeting company quality and performance standards.
Promote teamwork and supportive relationships among team members and other departments.
Ensure departmental standards meet or exceed production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Oversee product testing and record work in progress and finished product.
Oversee pre-operational inspections at plant start-up.
Review HACCP Critical and Control Points.
Maintain the quality schedule and communicate with related departments if it is off track.
Coach and train team members according to company guidelines.
Support lean and continuous improvement by identifying and removing process waste.
Inspect and routinely audit work areas for compliance with safety, sanitation, and quality requirements.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
