About The Position

Join a dynamic team as a Tech 1, Quality Assurance, supporting the Field Assurance Lab’s day-to-day operations in complaint handling and lab management. As a key contributor, you will ensure timely processing of complaint samples, accurate documentation, and efficient shipping/receiving procedures. This role offers hands-on experience in a regulated lab environment, providing opportunities to develop technical skills, build cross-functional relationships, and advance your career in the medical device and biosafety industry.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality assurance, lab, or warehouse settings.
• AA degree, high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to track shipments and manage inventory.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Willingness to provide proof of Hep B series, undergo vaccination, or sign waiver.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with FedEx shipping systems.
• Prior experience in a clean room or biosafety lab environment.
• Understanding of medical industry (GMP) standards.
• Previous warehouse operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily intake, documentation, storage, and disposal of complaint samples.
• Assemble, track, and ship sample return kits domestically and internationally, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Conduct image and video reviews related to complaints; process and track requests using TrackWise.
• Maintain good laboratory and documentation practices, ensuring biosafety and compliance with all procedures.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Proactively escalate unexpected issues to supervisors or managers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for lab processes and procedures.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
