About The Position

As our QA Supervisor, you will be the gatekeeper of information responsible for our document management system to ensure compliance with all regulatory, and internal and external audit requirements. You will have opportunities to develop your leadership and supervisory skills as you lead monthly Quality and Safety meetings while also will stepping in for the QA Manager when absent from the facility. Provide daily leadership and direction to the QA team.

Requirements

• Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry or other relevant discipline
• 3 or more years working in a similar role
• Working knowledge of GFSI Schemes, HACCP, Organic, Kosher
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Strong Microsoft 365 and other computer application skill
• Hard working and looking for career growth opportunities

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a food manufacturing facility
• HACCP certification
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Six Sigma, Kanban)

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly Quality and Safety meetings
• Oversee the document management process to ensure compliance with audit requirements
• Assume QA Manager’s responsibilities when absent from facility
• Generate SOP’s, forms, and documents as required for new products and processes
• Participate in the implementation of new products
• Prepare and execute audit schedule including all necessary actions for successful completion
• Follow up on corrective action requests and nonconformities issue from internal and external audit within deadlines and issue an action plan to avoid recurrence.
