Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Must have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Delaware
- Must pass background investigation
- Able to travel to multiple facilities
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Quality Assurance preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Monitors patients from intake to the facility and ensures continuity of care leading up to and following release into the community.
- Advocates for patient needs while acting as a liaison between multiple systems impacting offenders.
- Provides a proactive and collaborative approach in serving the patient population in a correctional environment.
- Oversees daily care management case calls and site log, including infirmary placement, COVID monitoring, Behavioral Health patients, hunger strikes, and crisis management for all Level IV facilities.
