About The Position

Job DetailsJob Location: Washington D.C., DC 20376Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $127,000.00 - $148,000.00 SalaryTitle: Quality Assurance Manager (Mid) Clearance Type: None Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Quality Program Leadership: Establish, implement, and sustain QA frameworks, plans, procedures, and metrics aligned to program objectives and contract requirements. Compliance & IA Controls: Oversee adherence to applicable policies, standards, and directives. Process Improvement: Identify quality gaps, root causes, and corrective/preventive actions; drive continuous improvement initiatives. Audit Readiness & Reporting: Prepare for and support internal/external audits, assessments, and inspections; develop dashboards and reports (KPIs, SLAs, defect rates, corrective action status) for government and contract leadership. Deliverable Review: Conduct quality reviews of technical documentation, plans, test results, change requests, and configuration baselines to ensure accuracy, completeness, and traceability. Risk Management: Collaborate with IA and engineering teams to identify and mitigate quality risks throughout the system lifecycle (planning, development, integration, deployment, O&M). Qualifications At least 4-10 years of experience in Information Assurance providing IT systems support for Navy/DoD customers or directly for Navy/DoD. DoD-approved Information Assurance baseline certification at Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II in accordance with DoD Directive 8570.01-M (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program). Must be able to complete certification sustainment related training/continuing education as required to maintain certification status in accordance with the contract statement of work. Desired: Computing Environment (CE) certifications for the operating system(s) and/or security related tools/devices supported, as required by SEA 05, in accordance with the statement of work.

Requirements

  • At least 4-10 years of experience in Information Assurance providing IT systems support for Navy/DoD customers or directly for Navy/DoD.
