Quality Assurance Intern (Caldwell, ID)
About The Position
The Quality Assurance Intern will gain hands-on experience in food quality and safety while working with the Quality Assurance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The intern will support projects, analyze data, and learn how quality and food safety are applied in day-to-day operations through work on the production floor and in the lab. The position is based at the GF Idaho Plant in Caldwell, Idaho. The typical education requirement is that the candidate is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field at a four-year college or university. No travel is required.

Responsibilities
- Support Quality Assurance projects through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Gather data and support quality initiatives on the production floor and in the lab.
- Participate in daily management meetings and learn how cross-functional teams work together to support production and quality goals.
- Build practical knowledge of food safety and quality programs, including sanitation, environmental monitoring, foreign material monitoring, and quality attribute grading.
- Assist with additional Quality Assurance projects and operational needs.
