About The Position

The Quality Assurance Inspector provides quality assurance support to manufacturing and packaging processes on the 3rd shift and reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. The role monitors compliance with cGMPs, audits production records, performs testing and inspections, supports investigations into quality issues, and maintains quality documentation and records. The position requires a high school diploma and at least one year of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing setting required.
• Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office required.
• Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents are addressed through GMP and on-the-job training.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for 8 hours, and work in a physically challenging environment.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Project management skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and control electronic and non-electronic documents according to SOPs.
• Monitor associates’ adherence to cGMPs.
• Audit production records and determine batch disposition.
• Perform set-up and in-process testing to verify products meet specifications.
• Verify room and equipment cleanliness visually and through ATP testing.
• Perform AQL testing when required.
• Perform swabbing for environmental monitoring.
• Review documents for compliance with GMPs.
• Maintain storage of retain samples and batch records.
• Help determine root causes of quality issues.
• Coordinate and support quality functions and projects as needed.
• Interact with other departments for quality purposes.
• Enter quality data into a computer.
• File quality testing records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
