About The Position

The Quality Assurance Engineer III is an intermediate-level technical contributor who works toward operational, functional, and business targets within a team. The role generally works independently under moderate supervision and may seek advice from more senior employees. It involves work on smaller, less complex assignments, making minor improvements to technical or business processes, procedures, or systems, and applying technical skills and analysis to difficult but not complex problems. The position may guide, train, or review the work of entry-level employees and may lead portions of less complex projects or processes. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least five years of relevant experience. The position is scheduled for first shift in the United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Understanding of the basic context and practical knowledge of the technical and business environment, including potential and upcoming technical advances in the area of specialization.

Responsibilities

• Work toward operational, functional, and business targets within the team.
• Make minor improvements to technical or business processes, procedures, or systems.
• Apply technical skills and analysis to resolve difficult, non-complex problems involving multiple issues and impacts.
• Communicate and explain matters related to the department or job family to employees; communication with external clients or partners may also be required depending on the job area.
• Provide guidance, training, and work review for entry-level employees as needed.
• Lead parts of less complex projects or processes as needed.
