About The Position

The Quality Assurance Engineer III is an intermediate-level technical contributor who works toward operational, functional, and business targets within a team. The role generally operates independently under moderate supervision and may seek advice from more senior employees. It works on smaller, less complex projects and assignments, applying practical technical principles and analysis to difficult but non-complex problems.

The position communicates and interprets department-related matters to employees within the department or job family and may communicate with external clients or partners. It contributes minor improvements to technical or business processes, procedures, and systems, may guide or train entry-level employees and review their work, and may lead parts of less complex projects or processes. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least five years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Practical technical principles and analysis skills relevant to the area of specialization.

Responsibilities

• Work toward operational, functional, and business targets within the team.
• Apply technical skills and analysis to address difficult but non-complex problems, considering multiple issues and their effects on the job family or teams.
• Communicate and explain department-related matters to employees and, depending on the job area, external clients or partners.
• Make minor improvements to technical or business processes, procedures, and systems.
• Provide guidance and training to entry-level employees and review their work, as needed.
• Lead parts of less complex projects or processes, as needed.
