Quality Assurance Engineer 2 – Escape Management Gulfstream Aerospace | Savannah, GA Gulfstream is hiring a Quality Assurance Eng ineer 2 to strengthen our Escape Management team and ensure world‑class quality across our aircraft programs. If you have aircraft manufacturing and completions experience, military aircraft experience , or airline MRO experience, this role is an excellent fit. We’re looking for someone who understands how aircraft and aircraft systems work in real operational environments. Continuous Improvement experience a huge plus. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, aviation sciences, quality systems or related technical field required or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 2 years quality assurance/control, manufacturing operations and/or military operations experience is required.. Aerospace industry experience preferred.. Position Purpose : A Quality Assurance Engineer II develops and maintains optimum methods of controlling quality and/or reliability of product or service in assigned areas such as: statistical methods, tooling and gaging, inspection methods, and program planning. Responsible for providing technical support in the conduct of investigations on known Quality issues. Implements plans and instructions in support of departmental policies. The QAE will work to determine Root cause and corrective action for known Quality issues using the 8D methodology and validated by the audit group. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and develops and promotes a good working relationship with local regulatory authorities. Ensures a safe, conforming and quality product is delivered to our customers.
