About The Position

GDIT is hiring a paid Quality Assurance Associate Intern for its 10-week Summer 2027 Internship Program. The intern will contribute to projects that support internal GDIT customers and help the Quality Management Office (QMO) improve operational performance. The program includes hands-on work with GDIT professionals, collaboration with peers on a business challenge, mentoring, interaction with GDIT leaders, and professional development. The intern will learn to use new tools and technologies; collect and analyze information from repositories, SharePoint sites, and reports; update information databases; communicate complex concepts using best practices; review Quality metrics; assess Quality products in relation to organizational initiatives; assist with planning and designing SharePoint sites; and recommend improvements to support the QMO. This is a remote internship, paid at an anticipated hourly rate of $19.32–$25.30. Interns work 40 hours per week for 10 consecutive weeks. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, have at least one semester of study remaining after the internship, and be enrolled in a qualifying degree program at a U.S.-based college or university. Sponsorship is unavailable.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree program in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline at a United States-based college or university.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Ability to build meaningful relationships with a manager and team members in a remote environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks, identify and correct mistakes, and ask for help when needed.
Passion for problem-solving and a desire to develop into a strong business leader.
Actively seek opportunities for personal and professional development and learning.
Intuitiveness and ability to identify and solve complex problems related to rapidly changing technology.
Genuine intellectual curiosity and a nimble mindset.
U.S. citizenship required.
Must have at least one semester remaining in studies after the internship concludes.
Available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for 10 consecutive weeks.
