About The Position

As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will support the Inspection organization in improving processes and ensuring product conformance. The role provides hands-on quality assurance experience while contributing to projects that advance operational excellence. The position is onsite in Cheshire, Connecticut. U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the program or contract; no security clearance is required.

Requirements

Actively pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline, and remain enrolled through completion of the internship.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to quality assurance processes or methodologies.
Understanding of calibration systems or inspection workflows.

Responsibilities

Assist in refining and organizing receiving inspection checklists and product conformance information.
Collaborate with suppliers to align inspection methodologies.
Develop workflows for the sign-off process of inspection documentation.
Support implementation and risk mitigation for an automated mechanical calibration system.
Participate in the hard launch of new quality assurance systems and tools.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Inspection organization.
