About The Position
The Quality Assurance Associate maintains the quality and accuracy of inventory by tracking and identifying freight manually or with computer software. The role includes auditing shipments and warehouse cycle schedules, inspecting freight and products for correct quantities and condition, researching discrepancies, preparing, reviewing, and analyzing reports, and moving freight manually or with powered equipment. The associate also provides basic equipment maintenance, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment and changing labels and ribbons. The position requires communicating verbally and in writing with individuals and groups, and demonstrating Walmart’s values through teamwork, integrity, customer focus, learning, and continuous improvement. Various schedules may be available; schedule details will be discussed during the interview process.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of Walmart Logistics clerical-related experience, such as filing or data entry, using computer applications such as email, spreadsheets, or word processing; OR at least 1 year of clerical-related experience performing those tasks and using those applications.
Responsibilities
