About The Position

The Quality Assurance Associate maintains the quality and accuracy of inventory by tracking and identifying freight manually or with computer software. The role involves auditing shipments and warehouse cycle schedules, inspecting freight and products for correct quantities and condition, researching discrepancies, preparing and analyzing reports, and moving freight manually or with powered equipment. The associate also provides basic equipment maintenance, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment and changing labels and ribbons. The associate communicates verbally and in writing with individuals and groups, works collaboratively, and demonstrates Walmart’s values of respect, integrity, customer service, and striving for excellence. The position is at 1000 Douglas Hills Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122. A stated shift is 5:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday; other schedules may be available and will be discussed during the interview.

Requirements

At least 6 months of Walmart Logistics clerical-related experience, such as filing or data entry, using computer applications such as email, spreadsheets, or word processing; OR at least 1 year of clerical-related experience using such applications.

Responsibilities

Conduct audits on shipments and warehouse cycle schedules.
Inspect freight and products for correct quantities and condition.
Research inventory discrepancies.

Move freight manually and with powered equipment.
Provide basic equipment maintenance, including cleaning, inspecting, and changing labels and ribbons.
