About The Position

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Quality Assurance Analyst. This is a full-time, contract position with a duration of 6+ months, located in Tampa, FL, with the option for remote work. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for software quality assurance (QA) and testing. This includes executing manual and automated test scripts across multiple projects, utilizing automation tools like Postman, Playwright, and Selenium, and creating automation scripts from manual test cases. You will need strong knowledge of test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and test result validation. Experience with Azure DevOps Boards, Work Items, and Agile/Scrum environments is required, as is the ability to write SQL queries. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. C#.NET knowledge is considered a plus.

Requirements

Software Quality Assurance (QA) and testing experience.
Experience of executing manual and automated test scripts across multiple projects.
Experience with automation tools such as Postman, Playwright, and Selenium.
Experience creating automation scripts from manual test cases.
Strong knowledge of test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and test result validation.
Experience with Azure DevOps Boards, Work Items, and Agile/Scrum environments.
Ability to write SQL queries.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
C#.NET knowledge is a plus.

Nice To Haves

Experience in ETL testing, including validation of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across source and target systems.
Experience validating data transformation rules, data mapping documents, and end-to-end data workflows.
Experience performing backend data validation using SQL queries, including reconciliation, data integrity, and data quality checks.
Experience with API schema validation, JSON/XML schema validation, and contract testing to ensure data consistency across applications.
Experience troubleshooting ETL and data integration issues through log analysis, data investigation, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage test strategies, plans, and estimates.
Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test cases and test procedures.
Design, build, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests.
Set up test environments, validate results, and track defects.
Generate and present QA metrics and defect reports to stakeholders.
Ensure software quality throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with project teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Mentor team members on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
