About The Position

Quality Assurance Analyst The Opportunity : When a user tries a new system, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful information systems and that means rigorous testing. That’s why we need you, an experienced quality assurance analyst who knows how to thoroughly test software and ensure that our team releases the best system possible. As a quality assurance expert, you’ll work with analysts, developers, and Subject matter experts on a team that evaluates developed systems for our client. You’ll develop and implement a test plan based on requirements and functional specifications. Using requirements analysis, you’ll generate problem resolutions and track quality assurance standards to observe how the system performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You’ll expand upon your experience in various types of testing, including manual, automation, and user acceptance testing. Requirements

5+ years of experience performing verification and validation in software development
Experience in requirements research, development, and analysis
Experience preparing technical presentations, including Technical Requirement Documents (TRDs), testing plans, and technical findings reports
Experience executing manual, automated, and user acceptance testing plans
Experience using Confluence and Jira
Knowledge of the Verification and Validation (V&V) lifecycle
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a Software Development or Quality Assurance field

Nice To Haves

Experience leading a team performing quality assurance or quality control on a software project
Experience leading a team performing verification and validation efforts on a software project
Experience creating and managing linked Confluence and Jira workspaces
Experience with client-facing presentations

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a test plan based on requirements and functional specifications.
