About The Position

Boshart Industries is seeking a Quality Assurance Administrative Assistant to support the Quality Assurance (QA) department by providing administrative and organizational assistance. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and supporting the department’s compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. The position collaborates closely with QA staff, as well as R&D, Purchasing, Suppliers, and other departments. This position is on-site and not eligible for remote work. Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of administrative or QA support experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand product standards, technical documents, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply the following behavioral competencies on the job: Written Communication, Goal Orientation, Flexibility, Interpersonal Skills, Planning/Organizing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the QA team by tracking, validating and monitoring files and compliance for quality standards and requirements- such as certifications, Prop65, REACH, RoHS, CRNs; responsible for annual audits and renewal correspondence.
  • Acquire, organize and audit information for mandated reporting like PFAS and assisting with the preparation and distribution of correspondence and documentation.
  • Maintain and update QA records, work instructions, and other tracking, support internal and external audits by organizing records and ensuring required documentation is available.
  • Increase product and industry knowledge, staying current with upcoming mandated reporting requirements, standard and certification updates etc.
  • Assist the QA Team Lead with any additional administrative tasks, as needed and provide continuous support where needed within the QA department
