About The Position

The Quality Administrator provides invaluable support that ensures new parts are properly introduced, inspected, and documented while maintaining a seamless flow of information among quality teams, engineers, and customers. You'll ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications, conducting in-depth inspections to measure accuracy and compliance. You'll diligently inspect steel tools, components, and engineering materials, documenting any defects and recommending corrective actions. In collaboration with the engineering, quality, and production teams, you'll address recurring issues and actively take steps to improve daily workflows. This role involves providing SPS package support, approving process compliance, and conducting process and work center audits. During your inspections, you'll identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for elevating our day-to-day operations. You'll maintain accurate records and revise files as needed to ensure the most up-to-date information, including in the eCAV system. Always polite and professional, you'll draft and distribute timely customer correspondence. You'll also assist with administrative tasks such as uploading/verifying material certifications, releasing approved materials, updating our specification library, performing general data entry, and additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with minimal breaks
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to accurately read and follow specifications/technical drawings
  • Strong proficiency with reading blueprints and using measurement tools
  • Solid communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test

Nice To Haves

  • Quality inspection experience within the steel, tooling, or engineering industry
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and industry regulations
