About The Position

Join the collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Administrative Assistant III, where you will provide essential support to the Quality leadership team to facilitate business operations. This role involves managing complex calendars, coordinating global meetings, handling confidential information, and serving as a key liaison between leadership, internal teams, and external partners. You will enhance efficiency through strong organizational skills while contributing to the company's mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer by developing solutions for global challenges like protecting the environment, ensuring food safety, and finding cures for cancer.

Requirements

  • 2 years of administrative experience, preferably supporting executive leadership
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced calendar management and scheduling skills across multiple time zones
  • Strong experience coordinating complex travel arrangements and expense reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, Concur, PRMS)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong project coordination and event planning capabilities
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships across all organizational levels
  • Experience supporting facilities management and office operations
  • Flexibility with work hours as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally
