The Senior Qualitative Analyst provides expert level qualitative research leadership, mixed methods analytical rigor, and target audience insight development supporting Government program assessments and strategic effects analysis within Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) and Psychological Operations (PSYOP). The role designs and executes qualitative studies, integrates findings with quantitative datasets, and produces mission relevant insights that inform influence activities, operational planning, and strategic decision making. Core Responsibilities Qualitative & mixed methods research — Conduct qualitative and mixed methods social science research supporting assessment of Government programs and strategic effects within OIE and PSYOP mission sets. Data collection methodologies — Apply interviews, focus groups, case studies, observations, and text analysis to collect, analyze, and interpret data aligned with informed influence objectives. Instrument & strategy development — Develop research instruments, survey questions, and data collection strategies supporting assessment plans and operational requirements. Coding & thematic analysis — Perform coding, thematic analysis, and synthesis of qualitative data while integrating findings with quantitative datasets such as polling, surveys, and behavioral data. Insight reporting — Produce analytical reports and research products communicating insights related to target audience sentiment, behavioral patterns, and achievement of strategic objectives. Research documentation management — Maintain and organize transcripts, translated materials, multimedia records, and other documentation supporting analysis and reporting. Assessment contribution — Contribute to identification and analysis of observational evidence, usage data, KPIs, MOPs, and MOEs supporting operational assessments. Baseline & reporting support — Support quarterly reporting and monthly baseline development through analysis, documentation, and synthesis of findings. Cross command coordination — Coordinate across JSOC, Geographic Combatant Commands, interagency partners, and operational units to support research execution and data integration. Methodological autonomy — Operate with latitude in developing methodologies and presenting qualitative insights supporting PSYOP and Civil Affairs assessment activities. This position is contingent on award of contract.
