About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Qualified Mental Health Professional to provide comprehensive mental health care to patients at Big Muddy River Correctional Center in Ina, Illinois. The role includes intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, consultation with a multidisciplinary team, case management, and individual and group therapy. The professional performs other duties as assigned by leadership and in accordance with Centurion policies and procedures, Illinois Department of Corrections directives, and standard operating procedures.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hourly pay depends on license and experience: LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT: $45.54–$48.35; LPC or LSW: $38.30–$40.66.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited educational institution.
• Active independent Illinois mental health professional license: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LSW.
• Maintain current tuberculosis documentation.
• Maintain active CPR/AED certification.
• Pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of experience providing direct care to individuals with mental illness.
