About The Position

Clarvida is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) for their On Call Overnight Adult Crisis Center in Portland, Oregon. The QMHA will focus on de-escalation techniques, conduct intake screenings, and assist clients with their daily needs. This role involves working with adults to complete crisis and risk factor assessments, provide crisis counseling services, and uphold trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices. The QMHA will also collaborate with treatment team members as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on crisis intervention skills to de-escalate, treat, and stabilize behavioral health needs of individuals. This is an on-call/PRN position offering flexibility in hours (0-29 per week) and specifically hiring for overnight shifts from 10pm to 8am.

Requirements

  • Must currently be registered as a Peer Support Specialist in Adult Mental Health in the state of Oregon
  • Certified in Oregon as a QMHA-R
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing psychological theories
  • Ability to pass background checks, including Enhanced Fingerprinting
