About The Position

Clarvida is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) for its On Call Overnight Adult Crisis Center. In this role, you will focus on de-escalation techniques, conduct intake screenings, and assist clients with their daily needs. You will work with adults to complete crisis and risk factor assessments, provide crisis counseling services, and uphold trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices. The QMHA will also collaborate with treatment team members as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on crisis intervention skills to de-escalate, treat, and stabilize behavioral health needs of individuals. This position is located in Portland, Oregon.

Requirements

  • Must currently be registered as a Peer Support Specialist in Adult Mental Health in the state of Oregon.
  • Certified in Oregon as a QMHA-R
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing psychological theories
  • Ability to pass background checks, including Enhanced Fingerprinting.
