About The Position

Aster Place Assisted Living is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role emphasizes building meaningful relationships by learning residents’ life stories and creating a comforting, engaging atmosphere. QMAs work collaboratively with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care, promote teamwork, and provide excellent senior care. The position is offered on full-time and part-time night shifts.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved medication-administration training program.
• Indiana QMA license.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Work with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
• Use medication-administration skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being.
