About The Position

The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) at Aster Place Assisted Living supports residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being while helping create a comforting, engaging environment. QMAs build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning residents’ life stories and providing compassionate senior care. The role works collaboratively with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate care and promote excellent outcomes. Full-time and part-time night-shift opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved training program in medication administration.
• Current Indiana QMA license.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
