This position is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating behavioral management plans. Assess and intervene in emergency and crisis incidents by following individualized behavior treatment strategies or facility procedures to ensure the safety of clients and staff. Train staff in implementation of behavior management plans. Analyze, develop, monitor and evaluate psychological data. Provide active treatment supports and services to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities to ensure effective methods of behavior modification and treatment are implemented. The South Dakota Developmental Center is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and community inclusion for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities through person-centered services.
