About The Position

Filling Homes is looking for a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) who wants to make a difference enriching lives of people with Developmental Disabilities. The QIDP position is supervisory in nature and responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of resident individual support plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Education, Health Care, or related field
  • A minimum of two years of verifiable work experience providing services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, employees, and general public.
  • Ability to work varying hours.
  • Possess strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Accurate typing skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • One year of previous supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary advocate for the individuals served
  • Develop, coordinate, implement, and monitor person-centered ISPs for each individual
  • Promote outcome-based approach to service delivery
  • Coordinate service delivery with nurses, therapists, day habilitation sites, and local schools.
  • Work closely with direct support professionals related to services and supports provided.
  • Promote community activities and involvement
  • Work closely with residents' families/guardians
  • Ensure compliance with Medicaid regulations and Licensure rules
