About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Lead Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) supports technical and administrative management programs. The Lead QIDP directly oversees attendance, transportation, and daily program operations while ensuring person-centered care and compliance with state, licensing, and accreditation requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services field, including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling and psychology
  • 3 years of supervisory and administrative experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Willingness to foster agency, department and program wide cooperation and teamwork through use of positive/constructive communication techniques.
  • Able to facilitate a positive, integrated, cohesive and supportive person-centered approach and attitude among all program personnel.
  • Have a strong passion for working with and helping adults with special needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate program coverage, provide direct supervision, and monitor daily activities.
  • Supervise, coach, evaluate, and support direct support staff, addressing performance concerns as needed.
  • Assist with personal care and other direct services when necessary.
  • Facilitate and promote person-centered planning in all programming.
  • Monitor individual progress, review data, and adjust programs as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, monitoring, and accreditation standards.
  • Track program goals and objectives, incorporating input and feedback.
  • Oversee daily data collection, baseline tracking, progress reporting, and required documentation while ensuring that each staff member has access to the most current information.
  • Ensure all activities align with individualized person-centered plans.
  • Collaborate with the Director on schedules, quality assurance, and performance evaluations.
  • Respond to concerns, maintain quality standards, and meet program deadlines.
  • Participate in department committees and collaborate with other team members.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry standards, state regulations, and accreditation requirements.
  • Share responsibility for PACE duties (implementation, monitoring, and staff compliance).
  • Stay actively involved in program areas to ensure effective implementation of outcomes, curriculum, and schedules.
  • Maintain organized, clean, and well-prepared program environments.
  • Coordinate and schedule community-based activities that promote integration and new experiences.
  • Complete appropriate documentation of incident reports, case notes, and client payroll.
  • Complete appropriate notifications as required.
  • Follow-up on billing rejects related to Medicaid waiver redeterminations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
