About The Position

Performs routine quality inspections in accordance with the organizations procedures to assure that products meet high standards of quality and customer specifications. Inspect critical incoming raw materials and components and assist receiving department with QC documentation. Review documentation (work instructions, labels, assembly specifications, etc.) to be sure it meets customer specifications, ISO 9001 standard, ISO 13485 standard and FDA regulatory compliance considerations. Interact effectively with QC Coordinator, QHSE Manager, Production Coordinators, Warehouse Coordinators, Production Set-up Coordinator, and Production Manager in order to resolve quality issues. Accurate, concise, and timely communication with supervision and managers as required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel.
  • Independent coordinating, problem solving and prioritizing skills, detail oriented and thorough.
  • Ability to work well with people of various backgrounds and abilities.
  • Ability to use physical measurement instruments (thermometers, scales, calipers, etc.) after initial training.
  • Possess fundamental understanding of inspection functions and a quality control system along with the necessary documentation.
  • High School diploma required.
  • Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or equivalent in a technical area (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and cGMP preferred.
