About The Position

DHL Express is hiring an Operations Supervisor at its CVG Airport facility in Erlanger, Kentucky. The supervisor establishes and executes policies and procedures for the physical handling of cargo within, into, and out of the Hub, ensuring that operations meet customer and internal requirements and are organized, efficient, and safe. This third-shift role oversees Hub operations and quality control and supervises 15–25 employees, including responsibility for hiring, coaching, training, and development. The schedule includes five workdays within a seven-day operational week.

Requirements

Ability to work third shift.
Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Some schedule flexibility.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or a related industry.
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA).
Previous supervisory experience, with at least one year preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate Hub operational activities to ensure shipments are processed safely, on time, and cost effectively.
Implement and direct quality control across all operational areas.
Ensure compliance with DHL corporate, hub, gateway or terminal warehouse, and airline policies, procedures, standards, and government regulations.
Establish and maintain operational records for volume, damages, safety incidents, productivity, and other Hub operations.
Communicate with relevant operations, flight, maintenance, facilities, sort, ramp, airport police, fire and rescue, US Customs, and agriculture personnel to support efficient and safe Hub operations.
Oversee loading and unloading trucks, trailers, air containers, or airline pallets.
Supervise identification and segregation of non-conforming and dangerous goods cargo and notify the applicable department according to established processes and procedures.
Supervise 15–25 employees and hire, coach, train, and develop staff.
