About The Position

The Operations Supervisor directs the operations area in accordance with the quality management system, client requirements, and Schnellecke Logistics standards, with the aim of meeting operational strategic objectives and goals. The role oversees warehouse personnel, resources, processes, service levels, quality plans, budget expenditures, communication with company and client management, and workplace safety. This position is for the 3rd shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Good communication skills.

Data-entry and computer skills may be required.

Responsibilities

Execute the organization’s values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, and standards to support Schnellecke Logistics’ vision.
Apply Core Business Technologies and/or central procedures in the area of responsibility to ensure the use of best practices.
Implement continuous improvement processes to create more solid and efficient procedures.
Ensure warehouse personnel comply with standard operating procedures, personnel policies, and workload demands.
Manage human, material, and tool resources in operational areas to support production-plan requirements.
Direct business-unit processes to meet operational service-level agreement goals with the client.
Validate operational action plans to achieve the quality limits defined for the business unit.
Determine approaches and tactical initiatives to support operational excellence and achievement of strategic indicators.
Authorize area expenditures within the allocated budget and company policies.
Communicate with Schnellecke Logistics and client management.
Foster a safe work environment, practice safe work procedures, and follow safety rules at all times.
Assist with budget planning as required.
Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Shift Manager.
