About The Position

Marketech International Corp. USA provides services to the semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing industries, including cleanroom and MEP turnkey projects, DI water, gas and chemical supply systems, water treatment systems, facility monitoring and control systems, equipment/material supply, and related project services. The QC Engineer is responsible for supporting quality control activities for semiconductor, cleanroom, and high-tech facility construction projects. This role ensures that construction work, materials, installation quality, and project documentation comply with drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of quality control experience in large-scale construction, industrial, MEP, or facility projects; or 1+ year of QC experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of ITPs, inspection checklists, NCRs, RFIs, method statements, and quality records.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with owner-side quality expectations from companies such as Intel, TSMC, Samsung, Micron, or similar clients.
  • Strong communication, coordination, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with QA/QC tools or construction management platforms such as Smartsheet, BIM 360, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar systems.
  • Experience with cleanroom, semiconductor fab, MEP, chemical system, gas system, DI water system, or high-tech facility projects.
  • Certifications such as ASQ CQE, CWI, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or other relevant quality certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, cleanroom, and facility-related construction activities.
  • Verify that construction materials, installation methods, and workmanship meet project specifications, drawings, codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Review and follow approved ITPs, QCPs, method statements, inspection checklists, and project quality plans.
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including NCRs, daily inspection reports, material certificates, calibration logs, test reports, and quality records.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, third-party inspectors, consultants, and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
  • Identify quality issues, document non-conformances, and support root cause analysis.
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure quality issues are properly resolved and closed.
  • Support project audits, quality surveillance, inspection readiness, and client quality reviews.
  • Track recurring quality concerns and recommend process improvements based on lessons learned.
  • Support the QA/QC Manager and project team in maintaining compliance with project quality requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
