About The Position

Pilgrim’s is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented QA Technician to work at its Guntersville, Alabama location. The role works closely with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure regulatory, food safety, and customer requirements are consistently met in production areas. The position requires completing departmental checks and entering information into MYQM, following HACCP procedures, and supporting production needs. Work may take place in cold or hot environments for extended periods, and hours may vary based on production demands.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for documentation and communication.
• Strong math skills for measurements, calculations, and verification tasks.
• Computer skills.
• Complete the QA Assessment test.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety, and customer standards.
• Complete required departmental checks and accurately upload information into MYQM.
• Communicate effectively with team members across departments.
• Perform measurements, calculations, and verification tasks.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Use sound reasoning and judgment to make decisions in real time.
• Work flexible hours as needed to support production demands.
• Perform job duties in cold or hot environments for extended periods.
• Learn and follow HACCP System procedures and successfully pass required HACCP examinations.
• Lift up to 40 pounds as needed to complete job tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
