Responsibilities

  • Hold and Release Program: Ensure all non-conforming products are placed on hold until disposition is determined. Release items on "pending pre-shipment" hold after verifying appropriate documentation, spec compliance, and micro results. Revise and present data in weekly hold/rework meetings.
  • GFSI Compliance: Update and maintain GFSI compliance documents/records to facilitate the annual review process.
  • Label Development and Creation: Maintain training and understanding of label requirements to perform functions when the primary employee is unavailable.
  • Food Safety Program and Systems: Primary directive includes HACCP (or PC for FDA Plants) plan development, maintenance, and reassessment, including all associated documents and records. Enable employee training as required.
  • Customer complaint follow-up: Communicate with customers as needed for additional information for complaint investigation.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
