About The Position

Chromalloy is seeking a QA Lab Technician/Data Administrator to support quality and compliance activities in an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for ensuring technical documentation is accurate, controlled, and available to support production, while also helping to maintain compliance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with both documentation and quality systems. At Chromalloy Carson City, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability by repairing and manufacturing critical aerospace components used globally. This role offers a typical schedule of 7:00 AM-3:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, with some flexibility available.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience maintaining records, documentation, databases, or administrative systems
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Access
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with quality, engineering, and operations teams
  • US persons (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status) only

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in document control, records management, technical data administration, or office administration
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance activities, or regulated business processes
  • Background in manufacturing, aerospace, quality assurance, engineering, legal, healthcare, government, or other documentation-driven environments
  • Knowledge of ISO, AS9100, FAA, or other regulated quality management systems
  • Experience working with engineering teams and senior leadership
