About The Position

The QA Technician is responsible for reviewing QA/HACCP paperwork in all production departments, performing routine quality checks and audits on production, the dock, and the facility. This role requires interaction with management, QA, production teams, government officials, and third-party contractors. The technician will also develop and maintain databases as needed, perform QA sampling and testing, and understand food production processes. A key responsibility is to understand and implement safety procedures through education, training, and adherence to safety policies and regulations. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Requirements

Competence in QA transactions, in SAP, Excel, Word and Outlook.
Understanding of GMP’s, SSOP’s, and HACCP principles.
Qualified to perform QA sampling and testing methods.
Understand of the processes and methods involved in food production.
This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.

Responsibilities
