About The Position
Legacy Turkey has a full-time, benefits-eligible QA Tech - 1st shift role available. This position is located in Melrose, MN. We hire individuals with a strong work ethic who align with our core values.
Requirements
- Work 8- to 10-hour shifts on concrete floors.
- Perform repetitive motions such as twisting, turning, bending and reaching.
- Lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Wear a hair net, hard hat, ear protection, safety glasses, boots and/or other personal protective equipment.
- Work with large groups of people as a team.
- Good attendance record

- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Must be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine checks to include but not limited to monitoring of production lines, sanitation standards, HACCP checks, label auditing, weight checks also include completion and review or documentation
- Assure proper execution of JOTS HACCP, TQC, NTIS programs as well as company policies and procedures
- Provide technical support and training to plant in areas of USDA regulation compliance, process control program, problem analysis investigation, product performance reporting, GMP's and Food safety principals
- Other job duties as assigned
