About The Position

The Quality Assurance Technician I examines products and materials for defects and deviations from external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations, and supports activities needed to meet quality standards. The role monitors and advises on assembly-process and final-product performance, supports training and communication regarding quality defects, and ensures non-conforming products are not released to downstream processes or customers.

Requirements

• Understand how to read electrical diagrams and engineering blueprints.
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude, including the ability to use MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop strong professional working relationships across all levels of the organization and present data effectively.
• Strong quality orientation, high attention to detail, and organizational skills.
