About The Position

The Quality Assurance Technician I examines products and materials for defects and deviations from external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations, and supports activities needed to meet quality standards. The role monitors and advises on assembly-process and final-product performance, and supports training and communication regarding quality defects. The technician ensures that non-conforming products are not released to downstream processes or customers.

Requirements

• Understanding of how to read electrical diagrams and engineering blueprints.
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude, including the ability to use MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong professional working relationships across all organizational levels and present data effectively.
• Strong quality orientation, high attention to detail, and organizational skills.
