About The Position

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time QA/QC Coordinator in Lithia Springs, Georgia. This position assists in the development of Quality Assurance standards, conducts continuous improvement evaluations, identifies non-conformances, and issues corrective/preventive action reports. The role involves monitoring corrective actions, maintaining accurate QA/QC documentation, reporting quality performance metrics, and coordinating inspections and tests. The QA/QC Coordinator ensures compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulations, performing onsite inspections of equipment and installations. This role proactively collaborates with the Project Team to ensure correct installations and adherence to all company and customer Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2-5 year's recent electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experience.
  • HS Diploma/GED.
  • Understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
  • Through knowledge of construction disciplines.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer programs (EXCEL/WORD).
  • Strong communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Data Center experience is preferred.
  • Electrical Field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in development of Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions
  • Identifies non-conformances and issues corrective/preventive action reports
  • Monitors corrective actions and verifies closure of quality issues
  • Maintains accurate QA/QC documentation and records
  • Reports quality performance metrics to management
  • Coordinates inspections, tests, and audits at various project stages
  • Ensures compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulations
  • Performs onsite inspections of equipment and installations
  • Proactively works with Project Team to ensure all installations are installed correctly the first time
  • Performs work onsite with the Project Team in performing all inspections and reports
  • Ensures compliance with all company and customer Safety policies and procedures.
