About The Position

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time QA/QC Coordinator in Pecos, Texas. This role assists in the development of Quality Assurance standards, conducts continuous improvement evaluations, and identifies non-conformances by issuing corrective/preventive action reports. The coordinator monitors corrective actions, verifies closure of quality issues, and maintains accurate QA/QC documentation. They will also report quality performance metrics to management, coordinate inspections, tests, and audits, and ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulations. The position involves performing onsite inspections of equipment and installations, proactively working with the Project Team to ensure correct installations, and ensuring compliance with all company and customer Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

2-5 year's recent electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experience.
HS Diploma/GED.
Understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
Through knowledge of construction disciplines.
Proficient knowledge of computer programs (EXCEL/WORD).
Strong communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Data Center experience is preferred.
Electrical Field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Proactively works with Project Team to ensure all installations are installed correctly the first time
Performs work onsite with the Project Team in performing all inspections and reports
Ensures compliance with all company and customer Safety policies and procedures.
