About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in CRM system testing, backend and database testing, to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our CRM platform. This role will focus on validating lead and account lifecycle workflows and business-critical CRM data flows to help us deliver the highest quality product to our dealers and users.

Understanding of CRM systems from a business perspective, including lead management, sales pipeline, and customer/dealer relationship workflows.
Able to interpret technical documentation, including TDDs (Technical Design Documents), spikes, and test plans, and create detailed test plans.
Team-oriented mindset, working collaboratively with QA peers, engineers, and product stakeholders to achieve shared quality goals.
Strong backend testing experience, including API testing using Postman — understanding request/response payloads, authentication handling (JWT/Bearer tokens), idempotency, HTTP status codes, and response decision trees.
Experience building and executing Postman collections to test REST APIs, including request chaining, environment variables, and automated assertions.
Hands-on experience performing database validation and data integrity testing using MariaDB.
Experience querying and validating data using SQL across relational database platforms, using DB knowledge not just to run queries but to investigate and root-cause data issues.
Strong front-end testing experience, validating UI behavior, data rendering, and end-to-end user workflows.
Experience testing CRM systems or similar business applications, such as lead management, contact/account management, or sales pipeline tools.
Experience testing integrations and event-driven workflows, including webhooks, push notifications, and lead routing.
Ability to run SQL queries to validate, reconcile, and investigate data; ability to write SQL queries for validation and root cause analysis is a plus.
Basic scripting ability and working knowledge of test automation concepts and tools.
Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Slack for test documentation, tracking, and internal communication.
Comfort using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to support test case generation, scripting, and documentation, with willingness to grow those skills as our AI-powered products and QA practices evolve.

Ability to write SQL queries for validation and root cause analysis is a plus.
Basic scripting ability and working knowledge of test automation concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

Ensure the company's CRM products and processes meet established quality standards.
Design, develop, and execute CRM test strategies to validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across systems.
Write and execute SQL queries to validate data stored in relational databases such as MariaDB.
Build, execute, and maintain Postman collections to test CRM APIs, integrations, and event-driven workflows.
Validate lead routing, lead lifecycle, and account/dealer data flows within the CRM.
Identify, analyze, and document data discrepancies, anomalies, and integrity issues, working closely with engineering teams to resolve them.
Provide actionable feedback to product teams by identifying patterns, areas of risk, and improvement opportunities.
Develop as a subject matter expert in the CRM product, gaining a deep understanding of the business logic (lead management, sales pipeline, customer/dealer relationships) and user impact.
