About The Position

Torch.AI is seeking a Testing & QA Engineer II to design, lead, and execute manual and automated testing across user interfaces, backend services, data pipelines, and end-to-end workflows. The role will establish and improve QA processes, build and maintain automation, and support continuous integration and delivery testing. The engineer will work with product and engineering teams throughout requirements, design, sprint planning, and code review to move testing earlier in the development process. The role includes regression, integration, end-to-end, performance, basic security, and data-transformation testing. It also leads testing activities by coordinating priorities, tracking risks, managing defects, driving root cause analysis, communicating quality status, and improving quality metrics and practices. Torch.AI builds government-owned reasoning infrastructure for mission and operational environments, and this role contributes to systems intended for demanding, failure-intolerant use cases. The position is listed as full-time and based at Torch.AI’s headquarters in Leawood, Kansas. U.S. citizenship is required for all positions. Some roles require a security clearance; candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance where required. Torch.AI does not sponsor employment visas.
