About The Position

Derex Technologies Inc is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Guidewire PolicyCenter and modern test automation practices. The role involves hands-on automation testing and AI-assisted test development. Candidates must be willing to work onsite from Day 1 at one of the following USAA locations: San Antonio, Texas; Plano, Texas; or Phoenix, Arizona. Only candidates who meet the Guidewire PolicyCenter, Playwright, and onsite work requirements will be considered.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Strong experience in Playwright automation testing.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude to design, automate, and optimize test scenarios.
• Excellent understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, test execution, and defect management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work onsite from Day 1 at one of the listed locations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Use AI-powered tools such as Copilot and Claude to accelerate test case creation and automation efforts.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure application quality and successful project delivery.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
