About The Position

The QA Auditor audits and enforces GMPs, SSOPs, TQC, HACCP, and USDA requirements. The role uses HACCP SOP requirements and established procedures to make decisions. It also supports food safety, product quality, documentation, and compliance through audits, reporting, sampling, and team training.

Requirements

• Pass a math test with a minimum score of 75%.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety principles.
• Good attendance.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.
• Working knowledge of AS400 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit and enforce GMPs, SSOPs, TQC, HACCP, and USDA requirements.
• Make decisions based on HACCP SOP requirements and established procedures.
• Perform AS400 computer transactions.
• Write shift summaries and weekly reports as necessary.
• Identify potential food safety issues and involve the appropriate department leads or supervisors.
• Identify non-conforming products.
• Audit products for export.
• Assist with coaching and training team members on proper documentation, product quality, and food safety.
• Coordinate a sampling plan for products on hold.
• Record, identify, and calibrate thermometers.
• Perform swabbing as needed.
