  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into test strategies, plans, and automated or manual test cases.
  • Experience testing functional, integration, regression, performance, UI, and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, such as GitLab, and quality assurance practices in modern software delivery environments.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Shape risk-based quality and test strategies before execution begins, defining coverage, testability, and acceptance criteria.
  • Incorporate non-functional requirements—including performance, security, resilience, and observability—into quality planning and test activities.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, surface quality risks, and inform scope and priority decisions.
  • Diagnose, isolate, and clearly report defects, using technical evidence to support root-cause analysis and verify fixes.
  • Influence quality across the development lifecycle through design and code reviews, test development, and clear communication of results and risk.
  • Mentor others in sound testing practices and partner with QA leaders to continually refine Kinsale's quality strategy and standards.
