About The Position
This role focuses on ensuring the quality and accuracy of incoming and outgoing merchandise within a warehouse environment. Responsibilities include detailed inspections, inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, inventory, receiving, or quality inspection experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to identify damaged or questionable merchandise
- Basic inventory and counting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to safely assist with unloading trailers and handling merchandise
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming and outgoing merchandise for quality, accuracy, and condition
- Perform routine inventory checks and cycle counts
- Verify product quantities, specifications, and overall condition
- Assist with trailer unloading and offloading operations
- Identify and report damaged, defective, or missing merchandise
- Document inventory discrepancies and communicate findings to supervisors
- Ensure products are properly handled, organized, and stored
- Maintain accurate inventory and inspection records
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Perform other warehouse and inventory duties as assigned
