About The Position

The PXM Functional Lead owns the functional design and business enablement of Product Information Management (PIM) solutions. This role serves as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring that PIM platforms are configured to support end‑to-end product data, content, and syndication processes. The Functional Lead defines future‑state business processes , drives data model and workflow design , and ensures that the solution leverages out‑of-the-box PIM capabilities wherever possible. They are accountable for solution usability, adoption, and alignment to business outcomes across merchandising, marketing, supply chain, and digital commerce teams. This role partners closely with the PIM Technical Architect , Project Management, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable, governed, and user‑centric PIM solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of full lifecycle implementation experience using various SDLC methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience in tactical deployment or migration of PIM, DAM, eCommerce and syndication applications with d eep understanding of PIM, PXM, DAM, eCommerce, and syndication concepts
  • 3+ years pf experience with product data modeling (attributes, variants, hierarchies, relationships)
  • 5+ years of experience in functional roles supporting relevant PIM, DAM, eCommerce and syndication packaged solutions such as Salsify, Syndigo, Akeneo, inRiver, Informatica P360, Stibo STEP, 1WorldSync

Responsibilities

  • Lead functional discovery to understand current‑state product data, content, and onboarding processes
  • Define future‑state PIM processes , workflows, and governance models aligned to business goals
  • Own product data modeling decisions including attributes, hierarchies, variants, relationships, and localization
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories for configuration and development
  • Guide configuration of PIM workflows, validations, permissions, and enrichment rules
  • Ensure effective integration of PIM with DAM, ERP, commerce, and syndication platforms from a functional perspective
  • Act as the primary functional escalation point, resolving design questions and trade‑offs
  • Support change management, training strategy, and user adoption planning
  • Participate in solution development, provide input for estimates, and support pre-sales initiatives as a functional subject matter expert
  • Drive AEO and GEO strategies for clients using PIM data for LLM syndication
  • Stay up to date on industry trends related to Agentic Commerce and leverage of GenAI and Agentic solutions to automate the product content supply chain
